3. Is Vespalicious.com a licensed tour company?

– It is compulsory for all travel and tour products to be licensed with the Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia. Vespalicious.com is operated by Asia Itinerary Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd a licensed travel agency in Malaysia bearing the license number 7674.

– It is illegal to offer or purchase any travel and tour products or packages in Malaysia from organisations without such license issued by the Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia.

4. What type of Vespa do you provide?

We are passionate about collecting classic Vespas and sharing our passion with others. The types of vespas on our fleet include VBBs, Super 125s, Super 150s, Sprint 150s, Sprint Vs, PX 150s, PX 200s, PS 150s, Excels and others

5. What does the tour include?

The tour includes:

  1. All street food items including beverages
  2. Safety equipment such as helmets, reflective vests, ponchos & first-aid kits
  3. English speaking guide
  4. Trained Vespa Riders
  5. All Entrance and Demo fees for attractions as stated in the itinerary
6. Are helmets provided?

Helmets will be provided and it is compulsory under the Road & Transport Ministry in Malaysia that both rider and pillion have to wear certified helmets when on a motorcycle.

7. What should we bring for the ride?

Only essential items such as: drinking water, sunscreen, sunglasses and smartphonesor cameras for videos or photographs.

8. Where and when does the tour start and end?

The “Cooler Lumpur by Night” & “KL’s Inside Scoot” tours startsand ends at your hotel (applicable to hotels in the KL City Centre only) or at KL Sentral Station (applicable to hotels outside the KL City Centre). Our “Cooler Lumpur by Night”ride begins at 7.00pm and ends at 11.00pm (4 hours) while our“KL’s Inside Scoot” tour begins at 9.00am and ends at 1.00pm. The “The Kampung Life” tour begins at 9.00am and ends at 4.00pm (7 hours). At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to the hotel you are booked into.  

9. What is the minimum number of people required for the tour?

Minimum number of people required for the tour is 2 persons (regardless if child or adult). There will be a surchargeif the minimum 2 requirement is not met.

10. Are your tours shared or on private basis?

All rates are based on a shared guide basis, however, a private guide can be arranged at a surcharge.

11. I am a plus size person, is this tour for me?

Our standard vespascan accommodate a maximum weight of approximately 120kg for a pillion rider. For your safety, we will not encourage anyone above 120kg to take our Vespa tours. However, we instead recommend doing our tours on a larger non-vintage 1000cc and above bike, which can be booked (subject to availability) at a surcharge.

12. Do I ride my own Vespa?

No, you will be riding as pillion with our experienced vespa captains at the helm of the bikes. Being a pillion ridersallows you to fully enjoy the breeze, sights and sounds of the tour.

As safety is our foremost priority, we do not encourage you to ride your own Vespa unless you have extensive experience in riding vintage vespas. You can request to ride your own vespa, however it will be at our discretion to allow you to do so after we have assessed your riding skills through a short ride test at the beginning of the tour.

Safety & Liability

1. Is riding on a motorcycle safe in Malaysia?

Motorcycle riding is safe in Malaysia as long as the regulations are strictly followed such as wearing a helmet and ensuring that your motorcycle is always in good running condition.

2. What are the safety measures that you have in place?

All our riders are interviewed to ensure that they are fit for the rides and tours. This includes ensuring that they have a valid motorcycle license, no criminal offences, free from drugs and have good knowledge of the tour.

At the same time, the Vespas used for our tours are sent for regular maintenance to ensure safety is not compromised. Every tour will also be fully equipped with a first-aid kit.

3. Do we need to sign a liability waiver?

Yes a liability waiver needs to be signed once you confirm your tour with us.

4. Do you offer Personal Accident Insurance?

Insurance coverage is optional and can be purchased at least 14 days prior to the tour.


1. What kind of food will we be having?

Local street food is best associated with this tour since our main objective is for you to have an authentic Malaysian experience.

2. What if I am a vegetarian?

Vegetarian diets can be arranged. Please do inform us if you have any dietary preferences or allergies and we will do our best to cater to them accordingly.


1. Do kids enjoy the tour?

We have found that kids most enjoy our tour to the countryside, namely our The ‘Kampung’ Life tour. They enjoy it as it allows them to truly experience a typical Malay village and how growing up in a place like this is filled with exciting and fun activities.

2. What is the minimum age recommended?

We recommend children age between 7 to 12 years old for our tours. We do not accept child below 7 years of age due to safety and security reasons.


1. When is the best time to come to Malaysia?

– Malaysia is located in the equatorial region, and has a tropical rainforest climate. Located near the equator, Malaysia’s climate is categorised as equatorial, being hot and humid throughout the year. The average rainfall is 250 centimetres (98 in) a year and the average temperature is 27 °C (80.6 °F).

– Best time to come to Malaysia are during January, February, May, June, July, August & December. Weather conditions during this months are hot and humid, but cool down as and when it rains, keeping the temperature balanced. Temperature ranges from 21 degree Celsius to 33 degree Celsius.
