Had friends that had done a Vespa tour somewhere else and said how good it was, so when I discovered that there was a Vespa tour in KL I knew we had to do it. I couldn’t decide which tour to do, daytime or evening , so left it until the day before to book. As we only had a short amount of time in the city, we plumped for the daytime one on our first full day, hoping it would give us an idea of the layout of the city, which it did. I was very apprehensive to start with have never been on the back of a motor bike before let alone in a big city! I was holding on very tightly at the start but by the end I was just lightly holding on. Kelvin and Dass were great hosts and riders and we both felt very safe and secure the whole time. We visited several places for food, Chinese , Indian and Malaysian cuisine all of which were great to taste. Great to eat local and away from the the normal tourist places. Fantastic way to see the city , 360 degree view all the time, dodging the traffic so you get to see far more than in a car or bus, with the added bonus of the exhilaration of whizzing around with the wind in your face! This is a MUST DO tour!

Navigating through the city's bustling streets and alleyways, I was able to witness the city's diverse neighborhoods, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems that I may have otherwise missed. The itinerary curated by Dusty Leaf Adventures was well-planned and comprehensive. I got to visit the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the historic Merdeka Square, and the vibrant Brickfield, among other notable attractions. The tour also took me off the beaten path, allowing me to discover charming local neighborhoods, lively street markets, and mouthwatering street food stalls. This well-balanced mix of popular and lesser-known spots truly gave me a comprehensive understanding of Kuala Lumpur's rich tapestry. Furthermore, the professionalism and friendliness of the Dusty Leaf Adventures team were commendable. From the moment I made my booking until the end of the tour, their communication was prompt and clear. They showed a genuine interest in ensuring my satisfaction and went the extra mile to accommodate any specific requests I had. In conclusion, my Vespa bike tour with the remarkable guide, Kelvin Yap, was an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. Good food, great experience, fun memories and worth knowing of some of KL's significant places and food stops from Chinatown to Little India and Wanjo and the durian!

A great storyteller and has had many life experiences from sailing to traveling he's an all around really interesting tour guide who made my time in Kuala Lumpur fantastic! Tanja Dittfeld2023-05-09The tour guide and the vespa drivers were absolutely lovely, and did their very best to ensure a great evening for us! However, we had two issues with the organisers/admin: Firstly, prior to booking the trip, my friend and I had enquired, if it was possible to get a vegan tour, and explained the difference between vegetarian and vegan. We were assured that it was possible, and we then booked the tour. In the communication leading up to the tour, we again 3-4 times specified that we're vegan and not just vegetarian (learnt from experience). Yet, on the tour, there was still a scramble for where to go, and the guide plus drivers were struggling. We pointed this out to the organisers afterwards (meaning the person we had communicated with prior to the trip). The organiser acknowledged the shortcoming but really tried to make it about the guide and drivers, and then offered us an unspecified discount, if we'd book another tour with them, and we asked, if we could just get reimbursed for part of the tour that we'd already been on. We never received a reply to this :-( From staying in Malaysia for some time now, I'd also say that it's a wildly over-priced tour for what you get (and can get in KL). I'd recommend just picking your areas (Little India, Chow Kit, Chinatown etc.) and restaurant spots and then travel around with Grab or the MRT.

It was fun, informative and you get to do it all on a vespa! Kelvin was knowledgable and gave me many recommendations for things to do for the rest of my stay.

Felt very safe riding behind. The uniquely local knowledge and insight gained in these few hours gave us a sense of KL history, ethnic mix, food, culture and places to visit over coming days. A must do tour.
